American Subcontractors Association of New Jersey to hold 27th Annual Awards Dinner on November 14th
Edison, New Jersey -- On Saturday evening, November 14th, 1998, at 6:30pm the American Subcontractors Association of New Jersey,Inc.(ASANJ) will hold its 27th Annual Black Tie Awards Dinner Dance at The Atrium Country Club, West Orange, New Jersey. This year the association will honor the following:
Bob Reick president Schoonover Electric Co,, Inc. "Construction Man of the Year" Bovis Cons&uction Corp. "Construction Manager of the Year" Bristol-Myers Squibb Company - Hopewell "Outstanding Construction Project of the Year" Edward Leske Company "General Contractor of the Year" Gale & Wentworth Construction Services, LLC "Developer of the Year" Macedos Construction Co., Inc. "Subcontractor of the Year "
The ASANJ membership was polled for nominations and the Awards Dinner Committee judged the nominations for each award category. Winners in all categories will receive their awards at the November 14th Dinner Dance in their honor.
In conjunction with this event, ASANJ publishes a souvenir journal which is distributed to all honorees,attendees of the dinner dance, advertisers, major subcontracting, architectural, engineering and general contracting firms, as well as other leaders of the construction industry.

The ASA of New Jersey is a non-profit, membership, trade association composed of both union and non-union subcontractors, and specialty trade contractors and suppliers in the construction industry. Founded in 1966, ASA serves more than 6000 members nationwide from its national headquarters in Alexandria, VA. Locally, ASANJ serves more than 130 members, The ASA of New Jersey provides information and education on such business issues as needed reforms on retainage, prompt payment, lien rights and bidding practices. This April, ASANJ was recognized by the American Subcontractors Association as the "Outstanding Chapter of the Year" out of 69 chapters.
